Butaki Prison Team

Garrett Lang and Ramon Billhimer visited the Butaki prison after working the first half of the day at the medical clinic. There were 23 men and 4 women at the prison. Pastor Moses started out by commenting on Ecclesiastes and how Solomon concluded that life is a worthless pursuit without God in it. Ramon gave her testimony and the theme of the worth of having God in your life was carried straight through. They were very respectful of her words and position on the subject. Garrett gave a sermon on the choice of free will and how Adam and Eve's choice to disobey God was the first instance of sin (missing the mark). He explained that only the life of Christ and the blood shed by Christ could set right what they made a curse. He ended by saying that Jesus is a worthy pursuit and that using our free will to follow Him is the only choice that will bring us back to God. In the end some men came to trust Christ and Garrett explained that the choice today was one they must carry with full confidence for the rest of their days. Praise God for the truth of the Gospel!
