Rain affected
us again today in Kuji, but it was all in God's plan! Nearly everyone on the
trail spent an hour huddled in huts with families of the village and/or their
translator to avoid the monsoon-like rains. Even though some of moments
in the huts started with awkward stares and silences, the rain eased the
tensions. Who knew that just an hour with a person would be so life changing?
Whether it was growing closer to your translator or witnessing longer and
stronger to a non-believer, God led each of us to a place of peace. All the
team members met with all walks of lit: Muslims, believers, skeptics and the
ill. As Midlanders, we loved to see the rain, even though it could hinder
our mission, but today nothing was to be disturbed. Relationships due the Kuji
rain will not be forgotten!
