This afternoon Walter Thompson, Ben Strickling, Cynthia
Howard, Jeff Darr, Casey Smith and Ramon Billhimer visited a water well
drilling machine to learn more about the process of drilling the deeper water
wells in Uganda. We talked with the
driller who told us he had two kinds of drilling machines—one shallow and one
deep. The rigs were donated by a church
in Houston and are owned by the Presbytery or Eastern Uganda. They are for drilling wells at the church
plants as well as other places in the area through government contracts. The profit from the wells drilled with the
government contracts subsidizes many different needs in the Presbytery and the
community.
When it comes to water wells, Ramon rocks! Shout-out for the entire team in Uganda.
