School Team

Jeff, Robin and Elizabeth went to three secondary schools--Kaamu Memorial, Kabweri and High Light.  At Kaamu three students--Stella, Yafesi and Zaidih--accepted Christ.  One of the boys was Muslim.

At Kabweri, Elizabeth gave her testimony without any notes. The students really like hearing from her.  During Robin's testimony many 6 and 7 year olds had gathered at the doorway.  When Robin tried to welcome them, they ran away.  They older students got quite a laugh over that.  During Jeff's testimony, the 6 and 7-year-olds had gathered in the doorway again.  Pastor Godfrey interrupted Jeff's testimony to invite the children in to the room.  The high school students understand English, but Pastor Godfrey told the younger children that he would interpret for them.  They spoke Lugueri.  Jeff's testimony made the point that decisions that you make as a young adult have the potential of affecting the rest of your life.  He encouraged the students to make Godly decisions.

When the team arrived at High Light Secondary School in Kadama, the motto was painted on the building:  "Decisions Determine Destiny."  Jeff used the school motto in his testimony, which was already about the importance of making good decisions.  About the middle of Jeff's testimony, God sent a refreshing sprinkle of rain.  As Jeff ended, the Lord blessed Kadama with a tropical rain.
